Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI) is a non-profit making institution which aims to encourage scientific and technological development and disseminate it among Catalan civil society. To this end FCRI acts in different spheres, with different approaches and with numerous agents, but always bearing in mind that its main mission is the promotion and circulation of science and technology as a social reality.
FCRI seeks to co-ordinate and find synergies between resources and Catalan institutions in order to foster researchers’ mobility by promoting the Catalan Researcher Mobility Support Node, which consists of twelve Catalan universities, the Catalan Ministry of Universities, Research and the Information Society (DURSI), the University and Research Grants Management Agency (AGAUR), the Catalan Institute for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA), Barcelona University Centre (BCU) and other public and private bodies.
