The General Directorate for Research, Technological Development and Innovation is responsible for the promotion, planning and coordination of the science, technology and innovation system within the Balearic Islands. Among other services, the Directorate has the objective to promote Human Resources, to increase the quantity and quality amongst researchers within the Balearic Islands and to strengthen the technical and scientific base by creating new groups of researchers or centres in priority areas. The Researchers Mobility Centre is therefore a service offered by this General Directorate to promote social interest in scientific research, technological development and innovation and provides students, lecturers and administrative staff within the national and international boundaries of the mobility area with all the necessary information.
