FICYT is a body that co-operates with the Asturias Principality Government for the management of the R+D+I Plan and the co-ordination of the Regional Technological Plan.
The foundation objective of FICYT is to foster, stimulate and promote activities related to scientific research applied to all the aspects of economic and social life that could contribute to the development and enhancement of the living conditions of the community of Asturias.
FICYT is a non-profit Private Cultural Foundation.
